Edell Mae Franklin (Edie), 90 of Indianapolis, died Tuesday December 29, 2009. She was born June 16, 1919 in Indianapolis. Before retiring in 1985 she worked for Earl Grissmer and Blue Luster Companies for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Franklin, brother James Knarr, and sister Norma Jean Herrick.She is survived by her nephew Dale Herrick, nieces Dellajean Carter and Claudia May Baker; great-nephews Jay Carter and Jason Shaw, and great great niece Lea Nicole Flynn.At her request, no services will be held.Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Heart Association.
